The Palisade Villa has a 440 foot private meandering driveway which leads you to a magnificent home perched at the top of a hill bordering one of Sedona’s most powerful vortices. The home offers an abundance of natural light capturing Sedona’s majestic red rock formations. The home is an eco-friendly design and is powered by solar energy.

This home is not one of your standard Sedona AZ Cabin Rentals. The property features two extremely large premier owner suites with en-suite bathrooms plus an additional 3rd bedroom and half bath. The spacious living room features a grand stone fireplace soaring 20 feet surrounded by windows capturing more red rock panoramic views.

The oversized living room features a wood plank ceiling and a stone fireplace soaring over 20 ft to the vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows.

To make our property more affordable for various size groups our pricing begins at double occupancy and we then add $50 per guest per night (plus City of Sedona bed tax) thereafter as additional guest fees up to six guests. All guests must be registered to the property prior to the arrival date.

The Owner:
The owner, Jerry Gilden, has been a resident of Sedona, Arizona, for 30 years. Over 20 years ago, he purchased this Uptown Sedona parcel of land and waited for the property to tell him what it wanted to be as he blazed a new trail in the vacation home rental world by offering new construction instead of a home conversion. Jerry has served two terms as Sedona’s Vice Chair of the Arts & Culture Commission, who championed the Arts in Private Development ordinance, which brought public art to private development throughout the City of Sedona.

Jerry’s policy is to make himself available by text, email, or phone call should he be needed for anything during your stay.

Neighborhood

Located in one of Sedona’s premier Palisades subdivisions, this was the subdivision’s developer’s choice for his private residence. It is 1.5 miles from Sedona’s world-famous Tlaquepaque – Arts & Shopping Village.

Access

Instructions for accessing the property will be provided after the reservation is confirmed. Upon entering, you will find a welcome letter, keys, and other information in our welcome area on the kitchen counter.

Space

This is the owner’s private residence made available for rental part-time throughout the year. Please inquire about available dates of stay.

Sedona Short-term rentals are in violation of Sedona/VOC Homeowner Association neighborhoods and are not permitted. Our Sedona Vacation Villas’ properties are members of the Sedona Chamber of Commerce, City/County Licensed and Tax Compliant. Further, Sedona Vacation Villas’ properties have a maximum (self-regulated) occupancy of two guests per bedroom plus one on a foldout bed. We never put more guests in our properties than the home was designed to accommodate. Your safety and comfort is our priority.

SEDONA AZ CABIN RENTALS: RULES

QUIET TIMES: In order to maintain peace and quiet enjoyment of the property commensurate with residential zones, quiet times shall be from 9:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. Friday and Saturday.

Please do not move the furniture in the house. Housekeeping is not responsible for moving or restoring the position of moved furniture. In the event furniture is moved without permission we reserve the right to charge a minimum $100 furniture moving fee.

LOST KEYS/GARAGE DOOR OPENER/GATE OPENER Guests who lose or misplace house keys are charged a $50 home rekey fee and guests who depart with a garage door gate opener are charged a $100 replacement fee.

CANCELLATIONS AND FORFEITS (Applies when booking directly through the owner) A. ALL CANCELLATIONS MADE WITHIN 60 DAYS OF ARRIVAL ARE NON-REFUNDABLE. If you had elected to purchase Trip Insurance please contact the travel insurance company with your claim. B. If cancellations are made outside of 61 days of arrival, your deposit will be refunded minus the $100 cancellation fee and trip insurance premium. C.
