Finally, we wanted to share a recent review from one of our valued guests who traveled with their two Akita’s. Enjoy and hope to see you in Sedona (with YOUR pet) soon!
★★★★★
Let me start with the sponge, yes, a sponge. There was a brand new one in its wrapper next to the kitchen sink. This told me everything about the cleanliness of the home and attention to detail. The view surpasses expectations from the pictures. The backyard IS the Coconino National Forest. I can’t believe we did not pay extra for the wild pigs and the coyote in the yard! All the amenities of town were 4 city blocks away walking. This property is so unique because you feel like you are in nature and away from it all but for a city gal like me, you can walk to shopping and restaurants and leave the car behind. The home has everything you need to feel connected (tons of TV channels and premium TV as well as WIFI), a full kitchen with all cooking implements, but the best part is how you feel connected to nature. You want to ignore TV and WiFi and sit on the deck to look at the immense starry sky or watch the sunset over the red rocks. Nothing can beat soaking in a hot tub while wild pigs (javelinas, technically, but they look like pigs) root through the yard grunting and foraging. That the Sedona Guest House is dog friendly is a huge plus. There is a fenced dog run with a fence high enough to contain our two Akitas. When you see how beautiful the inside is, it is shocking that pets are allowed! We actually rolled up all the area rugs so our dogs wouldn’t fur them up! There is unique artwork, interesting reading on the bookshelves . . . So many thoughtful details. Also, there were clear labels for all lighting and motorized shades as well as electronics. I could go on but it makes me sad I’m still not there. My husband and I, and our two dogs, would come back in a heartbeat. Thank you Jerry for allowing us this piece of paradise. Oh, let me not forget to say that Jerry is incredibly helpful and as hands on or off as you could ask for. I’m now regretting my review because it may make it harder to book here again!
